Peaks View Campground
Welcome to Peaks View, the newest RV & Camping Resort in the “shadow of the Peak” …the best kept secret of the Northeast Kingdom!
Peaks View is different in many ways from other campgrounds, nestled atop a hill in the quaint village of Jay, just 3 miles from Jay Peak. We offer water, electric and sewer sites along with rustic tent sites. Also on the premises is one of Vermont’s finest Lodges with 25 nicely appointed hotel style guest rooms and The “Bridge” Restaurant, making this a unique and ideal place for family reunions, weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, conferences or just a relaxing camping and lodging experience. We also have a large newly renovated tavern downstairs. It’s new…it’s different…it’s “D’Cota’s”, with an outdoor décor that is cozy and inviting.
Weekend activities along with the large swimming pool, volleyball, horseshoes, large sports field, hiking and biking trails, playground, pool and ping pong tables and video arcade are just a few things here that are sure to keep kids of all ages entertained. We are also within walking distance to the Jay Country Store for all your camping needs.
Other area attractions and things to do: Golfing at the 18 hole Jay Peak Championship Golf Course, Aerial Tram Rides to the top of Jay Peak with panoramic views, mountain biking and mountain hiking on the famous Long Trail, brook fishing, and nearby auction house and area flea markets. Only 5 minutes to the Canadian border, 20 minutes to Lake Memphremagog, 45 minutes to Stowe and St. Johnsbury and 1 ½ hours to the queen city of Burlington.

Pool Pass (for non-camping guests): $3/person per day

- All rates do not include 6% VT Sales Tax.
- Rates are based on 2 Adults and 3 Children.
- Additional overnight guests are $5 per night. All guests must sign in at the office and park in front of The Lodge.
- Air Conditioners and Electric Heaters are $2/day extra – Honor System!
- Deposit: We charge a one-night non-refundable deposit, required at time of reservation. Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum stay (Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day).
- Cancellation Policy: 1 Week Notice – Absolutely NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER!
- Check In and Check Out Time: Noon – Not strictly enforced but you must check with management for approval to check in early or leave late.
- We are pet friendly, however, pets must be in control or leashed at all times. Please use the “Pet Walk”, pickup waste and throw in the dumpster. This is very important so all can be Happy Campers!
- Peaks View Campground is a member of the Vermont Campground Association
We reserve the right to:
- Deny service or admittance
- Evict anyone for failure to comply with all of our guidelines
- Evict anyone engaging in illegal activities
- Remove any camper for failure to pay rent
